The exhibition was very unique and very well setup which brought a lot of people in. Before the exhibition we were nervous and did not want to approach people to ask to exhibit our work, but after we explained are project to the first person it felt much easier. But after awhile a lot of people denied us, but it was still a very great experience. Explaining our work to others out of our school community and showing others are work was a great opportunity. The overall exhibition was a success.
In the beginning of the projected I wasn’t interested in the project and doubted that my group would be able to finish. The amount of parts assigned to complete felt like a load on our backs. Throughout the project we learned about torque which was very stressful and completely hard to understand. But after we hurdled over the hard requirements and completed task after task. It gave us more confidence to complete the project.Something that I learned in physics is to problem solve and keep on pushing. I had to ask plenty of questions to understand the physics portion. I didn’t fully understand how to do the torque diagram before the last week, but because it was a big component to the project I pushed myself to continue to ask questions to better understand the content. Something that I learned in spanish was to how to have a simple conversation with someone else. Through spanish I was learning something new everyday when writing the artist statement in spanish.Something that I learned in humanities was to be more creative, unique and critique my work more. We created a creative story that symbolizes are word and as my first draft I wrote about Martin Luther King Jr. dreams. After hearing others I pushed myself to be more creative and unique to created a piece that was mine. Revising our work was a great portion in our project because there were many mistakes with our artist statements and creative stories. Another big thing I learned was about equality . Which made me think deeper about people who has showed equality and unbiased people. I feel like our collaboration was very good and we were doing different tasks throughout the project which allowed us to get much more finished. Collaboration was a very big part of finish the project because one person couldn’t do everything by themselves. But I feel like some other group member should have contributed more. I would give myself an A+ because through this project I pushed myself beyond limits and I felt I was a leader in our group. I had to do a lot of the work in this project ( Artist Statment, Physics Diagram & Planning). This project made me work really hard and pushed myself to ask questions to better understand the work. Throughout the exhibition I pushed myself to invite people to visit our booth and engage my group members with our work. At the end I accomplished a lot and learned much more about equality.
