What I contributed to the group or role I played in the video process was as the editor of the video and I also helped with the script. I helped contribute and chose what aspects should be represented in are video. I helped with the research and took B-Roll of cigarettes on the streets to help represent our video. The overall workload was evenly split as one person doing more of the editing and one doing more research. Both group members was able to contribute to both the areas.
What I feel like I did well was being involved with the video and really expressing my opinion on cigarettes and the negative impact it has overall for our bodies and the environment. I felt like I was able to learn a lot through this mini project by conducting research and watching videos about cigarettes. I really saw the effect that cigarettes has on our community as well on our health.
What we still need to improve or edit is the voice over and matching it with the actual person speaking in the video. This could be confusing towards our audience which is mainly focusing on elementary schoolers. The challenges we faced throughout the video would be taking our own B-Roll because it was very difficult to find actual videos on the internet that wasn't copyrighted. We overcame this challenge by constantly taking B-Roll when either one of us was out exploring. Link: Cigarette Video drive.google.com/drive/folders/1yiz_7DXZULyzxwgwtEYO9IYPOGXf-SJr
