The time period hasn't been established, but we do know that the setting takes place in England. Considering the creation of the book, I believe that the future from that time period it was created is our present now or a little bit earlier or later. The nonsense and unimaginable things that happen in the book, is done by children, children that still attend school and are supported by their parents. The entourage attempt to rob the mansion of an old elderly women. Alex takes lead in this operation and finds a way in the ladies mansion. He eventually ends up being distracted and attack by the cats and owner. Until he hits the lady in the head with an object. The police come and he is held back by his friends. He was set up by his droogs and he is taken away by the police. Georgie ends up dying while Alex is stuck in prison for awhile. While in prison Alex is basically tortured by being manipulated to watch these films. While Alex is out of prison he is treated poorly and abused by others. The book ends with him returning to the bar, but with a new entourage and questions his future and past. Some way I could connect this society too would be Hunger Games. Mostly based around their government and how crime is handled. The police and government is brutal. Since the structure and vocabulary in the book was confusing, from my point of view I feel like the similarities between our citizens in the U.S and in A Clockwork Orange is fairly alike. But the main difference I believe would be their safety and how the police and government handle situation or crime.

So far in the book, we are introduced to a few main characters. Alex our narrator, along with his friends Pete, Georgie and Dim. The book opens up with a variety of different words that's hard to understand. What happened so far is the entourage of guys rob, and beat up innocent people. They use that money and spoil women at bars.
